Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. The news was announced to fans of the series in the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples.
